About Us

jax set free exists to help people heal from abortion in Jacksonville, Florida and Beyond by offering services and resources with empathy, and without judgment.

We are an outreach comprised of community members and local partners.

Why Healing?

24% (nearly 1 in 4) of U.S. Women will have an abortion by the age of 45.*

Despite the current noise in the political and cultural arenas, we know that abortion is often a secret choice followed by a silent grief.

Some people experience negative effects after abortion. These may include, but are not limited to depression, anxiety, insomnia, addictions, suicidal thoughts, rage, and emotional numbness. Physical and psychological side effects may be immediate or occur many years later.

At JAX SET FREE we believe that healing from abortion is vital to the health of our communities.
